Don't have time to argue because of the Saints game, but I watched the BCS selection program and I've been keeping my on ESPN for the last couple of weeks. LSU gets plenty of respect and, without doubt, is recognized as the No. 1 team in the country. I'm not sure which network some of you are watching.

Peace.

I see said the blind man to his deaf wife.

But seriously
Its extremely disrespectful to LSU to make them play a rematch not to mention their influence on the BCS system to get bama in the game

Robert Smith still took a shot at LSU's win over Bama saying Bama left a bunch of points out there.

I guess someone needs to show him the 2/12 stat on FGs attempted outside of the redzone.

They did. I seem to remember some missed field goals . . . but maybe I'm mistaken.

its hard not to prop them up NOW. We've done everything we could and no one else is close. They have to prop up our accomplishments. But, during the year, they look to discredit what we had accomplished at that time, or picked us to lose quite often.....and i'm not really an espn hates lsu groupie, but some things do stand out. Its hit and miss depending on waht they are discussing and what egenda they are trying to push.....imo.

Lsu should have kicked a few from their own 40, b/c all FGs seem to be quality chances.

Can you really count 50 yard misses as leaving points out there when they went 2 out of 12 for the season on FG attempted outside of the redzone (>37 yards)?

Perhaps you want to take another look at the game and analyze your argument again. Look, I think both teams left points on the field.

Oklahoma will start the season #1 next year. Michigan, USC, and Notre Dame will be right behind them. Only when we leave no doubt do we gain their respect.

I watched the game. Bama made it in the redzone once.

LSU kicked the three shortest field goals in the game.

Bama only kicked one FG really in the range of their kickers. So any argument based off of worthless yards racked up out of their FG range is stupid. Definitely when Nick Saban is attempting stupid FGs instead of playing field position.

Bama did not deserve to win that game at all. LSU was way more on the cusp of easily winning and it was in Tuscaloosa.

Yes. It means either of the following:

1) Saban should have gone for a first down or two in that set. He knew his kickers were questionable.
2) Saban should have paid more attention recruiting kickers.

If it is another low-scoring game that would be wonderful, LSU special teams thoroughly dominates Bama.

So? They still, arguably, left points on the field.

Colonel Flagg, I have your back...I continue to hear about the points Bama left on the field...I can think of two drives where we were inside Bama's 40 yrd line but penalties pushed us out of field goal range...so if we execute, we remaian in field goal range with a good kicker; so I guess we left points on the field as well...idiots

Fans like to play the victim. It's pitiful.

Thank goodness the team and Les actually have faith in their abilities.
