With Bama being the second SEC team in a BCS bowl will they get the normal lesser payout for being that second team in or is that not the case since both SEC teams are playing in the BCSNC?

I would think the conference would be entitled to only one check. As a member of the conference does LSU get the check or the SEC?

Bowl money is evenly divided after deduction of expenses specified by conference rules.

The money that a team gets from playing in a bowl is divided into 14 pieces, with each school getting a piece, the SEC getting a piece, and the team in that particular bowl game getting a second piece.

There was a rule in place dealing with multiple teams in BCS games from the same conference where the 2nd team got a lesser amount.
