I remember seeing the post when the name was suggested. Congrats to the poster that did, he got it right!
He shoulda trademarked it though. If Tyrann trademarks it, would that violate NCAA rules?

I love how it's morphed into just common langauge now. First it was funny, then a big controversy to whoe calls what.

No you can't but Honey Badger should at least do a meet and greet with Mike Linebacker and get him a pass for the BCS championship game.

If he TMs it he will be OK as long as he does not realize financial gain and even then NCAA rules are vague on that point.

Maybe you can't trademark Honey Badger, but you could probably do The Honey Badger, or even without the "The" and used in association with football or his likeness could earn him some royalties.
