Could Shep have been our RG3

I sit and watch RG3 make a serious Heisman statement today, and I wonder if Shep could have been that same kind of player for LSU. I personally think Shep's talents are underused.

Not at all. Griffin is in a different league throwing the ball. Shep just wasn't a pure passer. And he just doesn't have the hands or size as a receiver.

Definitely not under Crowton for 2 years but no in general. RGIII is accurate in college Shep wasn't in high school.

We still have never seen Shep throw 1 pass in a game in a Tiger uniform. So we'll never know. I'd think it would have been possible.
P.S.> I'm still waiting for the Spencer Ware or Russell Shepard halfback pass at some point in time. Maybe in BCSNC. I think it was during the West Virginia game that Ware pulled up for one and decided to tuck it and run.

Ware did it last year. And I'm pretty sure we set it up once this year but he didn't throw it.

RG3 has a rocket arm an accurate impressive QB.
