Michael Ford's inconsistent PT? Keiland Williams? Benching JLee? Answer: Not letting PP7 return punts until his junior year. It should'a been obvious that he was way WAY better than anyone else in fron of him (C. Jones/ T. Holiday). CLM and his staff are great judges of talent, but they missed it here.

sorry that he doesn't play the guys you think he should. i am 100% sure he plays the guys he thinks will win us the game.

starting Lyle Hitt for the entire 09 season.

followed closely by not starting PP7 (at either CB or nickel) from his first game in 08.

Y'all would have thrown a fit if miles pulled Holliday from returns.

No question, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't make mistakes. He doesn't have the luxury of hindsight like we do.

Holiday scared me on PRs. He did a fare job but catching the ball was an adventure with TH.

I trust miles in his decisions way over mine but in my humble opinion, the talents of Russell Sheppard have not been exploited enough.

This could be the worst long term thing. Hitt was not good and Hurst appeared to be much better that year. I understand the PP7 not returning punts thing, but Holliday and Jones have some of the greatest returns in LSU history.

For a 1 game thing I'll say Scott not getting more touches vs. Kentucky in 07.

Not in the business of shite talking my coach a week before the SEC champ game, and a month and half before the NC. 12-0 was the best thing he has done this far.

Yep, sorta. But this is what baffles me. I just can't imagine watching this guy return 5 punts in practice and it not being abudantly clear he is really really special.

Whatever. He makes $5M a year and just said last week he could give a shite what anyone thinks. So, let him not give a shite. I'm a fan, PP7 just set an NFL record, and I wanna talk about stuff.

In general, I would say his biggest mistake is not logging on to Tigerdroppings consistently and listening to the experts on this site.

Without a doubt, and there is no other answer, putting all his eggs in one basket with RP. The dependence on RP to be the starter, then dismissing him from the team, set the program back 2 years. 9 losses in 2 years because he was forced to start a Harvard transfer, a RS freshman, then a true freshman. That was without a doubt Miles' biggest mistake while at LSU.

Oh and that gay arse headset his first game against Tennessee.

And letting him get away with so much. It HURT this team for two years. Not just because of the QB situation, BUT as a team as a whole. HE LOSTthis team when RP was getting away with all his crap and the other players noticed it. They FINALLY got THAT swagger back last year, and put it into High gear this year.

Running ad-nauseum a hurting and pudgy Justin Vincent inside the Tackles at Aub 2006, after failing to establish the run in the two laughers vs ULL and Az weeks prior.

Also, having Russell under Center that entire game, instead of in Shotgun vs Muschamp's 8-in-a-box, to buy a few more seconds vs blitzing rush and better see the whole field & WR progressions(a major Russell flaw), and not focusing on the Frosh DB from Louisiana that was inserted as the starter at gametime for Auburn, nor passing more as JR was doing well when allowed to throw.

If win this game, gets LSU a revenge match vs Fla in Atl..for a BCS crown. I consider Fla's 2006 BCS title the one LSU left on the table for the taking.
