WTF?? He's suppose to be a leader and the kid was gift wrapped a chance to be THE guy on a NC team. I'll never understand why kids with such great God-given talent continue to make shitty decisions.

It's a fascinating development. If Lee is ineligible for the BCS Championship (if we make it of course) will all the whiners take back all of their bullshite?
Anybody got a link?
edit: I see one of the biggest tools on this site has made an appearance in this thread. Awesome.

Hey buuuuuuuuuuudy. And no I didn't. I've always said JJ was an idiot for being anywhere near Shady's that night.

Agreed...now that makes 2 of them. What I found interesting was when Les said "Lee has made significant contributions this far and in the next 2 games his contribution will be very very significant. Either his grades are expected to improve or Les is jerking his chain again. Who knows, the effect of both QB's bad decision making may be fading and we can see the best of both of them in the games ahead.

He also had a quote in the paper about Jefferson being the guy that is better under pressure (pass rush). It is pretty much what most objective observers have seen.

here is my Summation of Les's comments about academics and Lee.
Les said that he would not directly comment on specific players academic challenges but that successful academics were an important part of the LSU program. He made this statement in relation to questions about Lee but never directly said anything regarding Lee.

When asked about it Les said, "Academics are a private matter" or some shite. In Les speak that's admitting it.

Someone asked Les in his press conference about JL status for Bowl season. Les answered with players sometimes need to raise their grades this time of year. People have drawn conclusion that this is Les saying Lee is having academic issues..
This "tweet" by Collins lends more credence to Lee having issues
This was after everyone freaked out about him not playing much during the WKU game.

S/O to my boy Jarrett Lee. He in class for about 5th or 6th time this whole semester! #Dedication

He is a Team JJ guy.
I gave JJ the benefit of the doubt, will do the same with Lee. The OP is showing his/her true character.

First of all, anybody attempting to read between the lines when Les speaks is treading on thin ice, that's for sure.
But it does seem odd that Les, when asked point blank if JL had an issue, just said that's a private university matter, and then made comments about guys needing to step it up academically this time of year.

In a response to a question about Lee.

your pathetic attempt a troll thread from a made up "belief" into what you "think" Miles means from an unrelated comment is pathetic and trite.
hence why you still have provided no link. Oh, and you did, you believed he shouldn't have been suspended. Now, you are fully in support of this "belief" and admonishing the player.
If it wasn't so pathetic it would be funny.
