Tin Tin fans like it in the butt

Saw the Tin Tin trailer and if someone asked if I had to describe it I would say, "Imagine if a hobo came to your house and took a shite in your eyes".
1) Just because it's CGI doesn't mean kids will want to see it.
2) If someone is alive that actually remembers Tin Tin, then they wont go see it because they are afraid there will be noisy little kids in the theater. Which there won't be (see reason 1).
So basically if you like Tin Tin and want/plan to see this movie then there's a very good chance you're a pedophile.

I've seen it (came out here already) and it's pretty fricking great. It just nails the source material and really needed to be filmed that way. Its just a good old fashioned adventure and its got some great action sequences in it. It's a film we haven't had in many years: a good adventure film. You all owe it to yourselves to see this once it comes out in America.

I don't think there is a single kid in the film, and its not like kids are going to be begging their parents to take them since it's likely they're not familiar with the source material. This film was a combination of Steven Spielberg, Peter Jackson, and Edgar Wright. How could this film even possibly be awful? That's right, its not. Its fun, funny, has good characters, is adventurous, and has great action sequences. Go see it for yourself before you judge it.

Understatement of the week. Tintin is really the pre-Indiana Jones, and Captain Haddock is fricking awesome. Plus Thomson and Thompson are funny as hell in the film, and are portrayed by Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, which are always a great combo and make any film worth watching.

im planning on seeing it, i started reading the comics in the 70's when i lived over seas, and still have them. my kids are reading them now, and we are looking forward to the movie.
