Solution: let Bama and OSU play for second place

There is no doubt amongst anyone that LSU is best in the country. So long as the tigers don't shite the bed against the dawgs, this won't change. The real debate is who is the second best team out there.
Why not settle that question on the field? Let OSU and Bama play for second in the fiesta bowl. The winner gets to be officially known as number 2.

This reminds me of 2003 season National Championship when someone offered up a sum of cash to match up LSU vs. USC after the season to settle it all up.

Bama OSU play for second place as a consolation game. LSU gets a bye and is crowned unanimous NC! LSU already beat everyone! If you gotta have a game do a purple n gold game!
