An LSU fan happy for Tebow

I'm not a Christian, and in fact I think the religion has more or less been discredited by the pedo scandals and hijacked by far (far, very far) right conservatives, and I do have a problem with Tebow's inserting his faith into seemingly every question he's asked. He's a tough, resilient kid, but by now we ALL know he attributes this to his faith. He can curb that shite anytime. It's become grating. There are countless religions in the world. Christianity is merely one. And as we ALL know, religious differences have a started a war or two, or hundreds throughout mankind's history.
That said, I love underdogs. He's a tough kid. And he's no longer playing my Tigers. I'm (remarkably) with Skip Bayless on this one. Tebow is underrated. Don't know what else he has to do to prove at least this. I'm rooting for him. Just wish he could see the world from outside his tiny little bubble more often. I think he will, as he matures.

Watching that right now. Agree with but I must admit I like the broncos just slightly less than I love the saints.

I love me some Tebow, and I'm an atheist.

Skip Bayless is a scripted troll.

Yeah, I'm an atheist LSU fan. I'm not necessarily a Tebow fan, but I become more of one every week when I see the senseless hatred for him. Doesn't make much sense to me.

nothing to do with religion, hated tebow when he was at UF but like him now and got to give him props. because he never lets anything get him down. hardest worker around and is on a mission to prove people wrong. Dudes got so much heart and finds a way to win no matter what

I just like the fact that his play and his winning is making many an expert's head explode.

I think it's freaking hilarious. I mean cmon, this really is getting absurd. Yes, I know the defense is carrying the water but the fact that it keeps coming down to a final Denver drive would be RIDICULOUS scripting if it were scripted.

Me too. I hate Florida, have never liked the Broncos, but for some reason I am cheering for Tebow and the Broncos this year!

You bitch at Tebow for bringing his beliefs to the NFL by bringing your beliefs to the More Sports Board?
You're awesome.
