La'El Collins has he been redshirted?

I dont recall seeing him play this year.

He has played. The last I heard on here, he had tweeted some things that reflected him being unhappy at LSU and questioning his commitment. I hope be has gotten past that....

Depending on when he played he might still get redshirted. You can still redhsirt after playing. You have play under a certain % of snaps. It might also have to be OOC, not sure though.

Hope so too. Looking at him in the Ole Miss game, he will be an awesome run blocker for us

Not the case any more barring medical redshirt. One snap burns the redshirt.

One play and you lose your redshirt - unless you claim a medical redshjirt - and even then you can't play after the 4th game of the season, which I'm pretty sure he has.

He's played in several games. He can't redshirt. The question will be how happy he is, but he'll likely start at one of the guar positions next year, likely LG.
Blackwell and T-Bob (thank God) are going to be gone next year, and he and Williford will take the guard spots. He'll then likely move over to tackle in 2013 when Hurst graduates.

Collins has played and will be in the mix to start next year with T-Bob, Blackwell and (possibly) Dvwzzzryiifcdsygck gone.

T-Bob has been a huge factor for us on the line. His guard play is actually good. He had trouble at center last year. His versatility alone earns him the gratitude of Tiger fans. The hate he gets seems to come from people that don't recognize his contributions.
Hell he won us the Tenn game last year by snapping it.

I think he definitely starts if Josh D doesn't make it back. If Josh D is back, then it will be interesting between him, Williford, and Collins.

How much he was hyped and wanted by LSU fans, he sure didnt play much. Thats sad because he would be a starter at 90% of other teams. Some times I question Miles why he burns players redshirts for a few plays. Mett should of been redshirted IMO

Mett was JUCO and had 3years to play 3years. No such thing as a red shirt for him.

This, he'll be a 3-year starter for us, and may be our Barrett Jones and start in several different positions. I could see him at LG next year, RT in 2013 and LT in 2014. He'll get himself a lot of money in the NFL draft if he plays well in all those positions. I hope Collins will be happy if he starts next year and beyond. Maybe he just wasn't happy with his playing time this year thus far (just playing in garbage time).
