The computers do give OSU some loving, but don't think the human beings voting will do so.

Yea and OSU lost to Iowa State, and Bama lost by 3 in OT to the undefeated Tigers. I think that is more important than OSU playing more teams over 500

Human Vote comes into play after OSU plays OU next weekend. If OSU destroys OU they make their case and it is fresh in the voters minds.

No, but the computers notice. That, coupled with the voters outside the SEC homers not wanting to see a re-match may surprise a lot of people in a few weeks.......

OSU could also have wins over 3-4 teams in the final top 25.

Bama is looking at only a win over a ranked Arkansas.

If OSU beats OU and OSU/Bama are the consensus #2 and #3 OSU only needs 25% of the 2nd place votes in the human polls. OSU would definitely have the consensus #2 computer score.

That is one thing that may work for OSU. It worked against USC in 2003 which is why they moved their game against UCLA back a week until this year and why OU vs OSU is next week instead of this past week.

Out of sight...out of mind.

Not saying that it is right or wrong, but it can't hurt to move a game when their conference doesn't have a championship game.

I am waiting for the national media to say how can Bama be considered NC if they beat LSU. It is a split at best for Bama and LSU has far better resume. Maybe someone can let ESPN know.
