Mett and Randall will run 2 QB system with Rivers as backup
Randall will have a red zone package similar to what Tebow ran in 2006, imho

I don't know if he'll play that much, but he will get PT. Probably more similar to Perriloux in 07.

Randall could be special... I was blown away by his gamefilm

If we sign Liggins I would love to see him in this role

Whichever QB will allow the Rantards to make up another QB "controversy".
Les Miles' hate for you all burns with the fire of a thousand suns. All personnel decisions will be made to cause the greatest consternation to the Rant.

Without benefit of spring practice or spring game, I would say Rivers is #2 should Mett get hurt but Randall gets the JJ/RP package and gets more regular snaps than Rivers if Mett stays healthy.

According to our resident expert columnist GG, Les is going to get JJ an extra year.
I am excited to see all three of our QB's that are coming back, although it sounds like Rivers is a little longer term project.

Is Randall redshirting? I assume he is but would like confirmation.

Rivers is a long-term project who will be looked to as a starter in 2013 or so.
Randall will have a package of plays he can run, and he'll be ready to do it next year. His role will increase with time, & he'll help ease Rivers into his role as starter early.
I can't wait to see Randall, though. He's alleged to be an absolute practice All-American. I know how that sometimes doesn't translate, but I think there's a reason that Oregon wanted to sign & redshirt him this year.

i hear a kid that has one more year of eligibility left from Harvard is coming. Very smart. I think his name is Andrew Hatch

Randall is not big.
This. Isn't he similar to Russell Shepard in size and rantard hype?
I would think he moves positions similarly. You gotta think Rivers backups Metternburger with a possible signee going 3rd string.
