How sold are you on this guy going forward?

I've got $42 dollars left in my budget (most of any teams left in contention) and wondering if I should zero it out for him?

I have Forte and Jackson (we start two RBs and a flex) so if he were to be their 'guy' he'd be a great flex I think.

My problem is that another guy I'm fighting with for a spot (and he's a really switched on player who notices everything) has $41 dollars left.

So I'm worried that he might go all in here (he has Mathews- Ogbonnaya w/Dmac on bench)

Any thoughts?

Oh I definitely don't like him for that price- but it's more of a strategy based risk as opposed to actual value.

If he gives me a third good RB for playoff stretch then he's invaluable- and if he does that while not giving the other owner the same even better.

I thought you were just rubbing it in after I made that trade for FJax last week

but really, Spiller more than SMith? That Buff offense is pretty toxic right now

I'd probably gamble on it. It's pretty much now or never and you could use another Flex option.

While I am not in love with Kevin Smith, there is so little time in the season that it may be worth it.

Also, are you allowed to acquire players without spending your budget? What I mean is that are the budgets only for waivers?

yes, but we can place $0 bids

so if I run out I can still pick up players, but won't get any of anybody that blows up I guess.

I forgot about that

I'd probably look at Smith, but Id guess your budget would be gone. Spiller was just a cheaper suggestion if the event you didn't want to spend all that money.

Ok, then I may as well go for it if you think that you could or will be starting Kevin Smith. If you are just blocking that dude, then I am not sure.

You may to spend a little on someone like Spiller or even Orton if you have a bad QB situation.
