I may have missed it, but in all the discussion of an LSU-BAMA rematch, no one has mentioned the Georgia-Southern game. Bama gave up 300 yards on the ground (and 21 points) to a non-BCS Division (or whatever the official name is) school that primarily ran the triple option. To a team with athletes no where near the talent of LSU.

If there's a rematch, I expect the option all night long. And i don't think Bama can stop it.

Seems like bad karma to be so presumptive...

Good point. But I wanted to point out something positive about a rematch. If GA-Southern can put up 21 on Bama with the option, I think that bodes well for LSU.

BTW, your quote about the nickname is great.

Meh. Bama has over a month to get ready for it, and most certainly will after what Jefferson and Ford did to them.

If we play Bama in the Dome, we spank em just like we did UGA in the '03 rematch.

Thanks.

Get ready practicing against an offense that doesn't have any experience running the option. In theory it will help, but in reality, I'm not so sure.

Remember what Utah did to Bama when Saban had a month to prepare for them. Plus, Jefferson can run both the regular offense and the option. Not as easy to stop when you don't know when the option is coming.

It'd be interesting to see LSU run the option with Hilliard as the fullback. Might open up some yards in the middle.
