How many get to go to New York? 5? In no particular order:

Keenum
Richardson
Luck
RG3
Barkley

Who should go over those 5?

To answer your question...yes.

Before tonight's game:

Barkley's statistics are Heisman-worthy — he has completed 247 of 370 passes for 2,782 yards and 29 touchdowns.

Luck has completed 221 of 313 passes for 2,680 yards and 29 touchdowns. He has seven interceptions, one more than Barkley.

Luck and Stanford got handled nicely last weekend by Oregon, 53-30. And that was at the Farm, not the Autzen Zoo.

So the door has cracked open for Barkley. If he is impressive against a very impressive Oregon team, they might actually have to hold a vote for the Heisman.

"The [Heisman] voters are going to take notice of that game," said Brandt, for 28 years the director of player development for the Dallas Cowboys and now an analyst on NFL.com. "You are going to see a comparison with Luck. It's big that that the game is at Oregon."

Tonight: 26/34, 323 yards 4 TD and 1 INT (wasn't really his fault, dude was held and ball was tipped.)

Kellen Moore gets an invite as the QB with the most wins in history right? If that happens, who gets bumped from my list? RG3? Probably, so:

Keenum
Luck
Barkley
Richardson
Moore

Luck wins IMO. I doubt ESPN says anything about Richardson being held to under 100 against LSU though.

Replace Richardson with Moore from your original list, and keep RG3. Richardson got shut down in the second half against LSU. No way should a Heisman candidate go scoreless in the biggest game of his career.

I just don't see them removing their favorite player.

ETA: Media constantly sucks Richardson off. Hell Danielson has shite on Ware all year when he makes a great run by ALWAYS adding, "Great play, but he's not in the same class as Trent Richardson".

Russell Wilson. who he replaces is debatable, but I think he's one of the top 5 players in the country.

leads the nation in passing efficiency, and I don't think there's much more he coulda done in their 2 losses. he actually led 4th qtr comebacks in both, only to have the defense lose on Hail Mary type plays.

Mark Ingram completely shite the bed against Auburn 2 years ago and still won the Heisman. No way should a running back that was held to 30 yards in the last regular season game be a heisman candidate.

What about Brandon Weedon? I'd put him above Barkley.

Richardson will get all the Southern media votes because that's all they vote for. It's been that way for years. They vote not on the player but "eligible player from the South" regardless if he's overrated or sucks in his biggest game. They're not honest.

After looking at his numbers, I think RG3 should win the award, not just get a token invite. His passing numbers are comparable to the top candidates and then you add about 800 rushing yards.

Could not agree more. He did not deserve it either. Only Troy Smith was a more mediocre winner in the past decade.
