The kid is looking tough as nails out there. It took a long time and a lot of pain but I think he finally got it.

after beating the pigs, JJ is playing on another level. Coaches dream about having a senior qb and here we have him. For about the first time in JJ's career that I see the team actually rally around him. Tough as nail and will not be rattled. Aint noboby beating this team. Fk'ing swagga!!!!!!

I agree, he looks better but he still holds the damn ball too long. Not hating on the kid, I've backed him for 4 years. He just holds the ball too long.

Lee has a much quicker release.

Let me reiterate, I'm not saying one is better than the other. Just something I've noticed.

The pundits weren't lying this summer. JJ has flipped the switch.

Lee makes quick irrational decisions. Jefferson makes long drawn out no decisions.

There are our QBs, each with physical flaws. Luckily dumbass Crowton is no longer here to shine a spotlight on the flaws.

The only real issue I have with how JJ throws is his long wind up. He looks like a baseball pitcher out there.

But I like the extra dimensions he adds to the offense.

I don't know about that. He's been very comfortable in the pocket all season with the exception of the Bama game. If he did that, we wouldn't have won against Oregon, WV, Tenn, FL, AU....

My thing with JJ, is that he takes too long to pull back and pass. It takes too long. If he has time to do it, all the better.

Anyway, I'm glad we have both of them.

And this deserves probably the biggest +1 ever:

I in warm ups because Lee picked his back foot up on every throw. He overexagerated it every time almost like he was saying, "See I can throw it on my front foot".

I ain't hating on Lee at all.

Just pointing out what the tendency has been for each QB. Lee can get rattled, throw first read regardless of coverage. JJ will see first read WIDE OPEN and not throw.

Each have improved tremendously - no Crouton. But each still have the same tendencies.

Remember the comment by JJ after the bama game about him putting the team on his back? that wasnt some of the same bs interview players give, but i think he truly means it. the kid wants the ball and really believe he can carry the team on his back. that is confidence and swagga you just cant teach. JJ is taking it to the mfking house!!

i dont think its JJ way of saying he is better than Lee. Its his way of telling Miles and the team that if you give me the ball I will win the game for you.

And that's the mentality you want your QB to have.

My shoulders. My game.

bumping this thread up again to remind people why JJ should be starting. I am willing to bet if you ask John Chavis, Nick Saban and most other SEC DC
's they would say JJ should start. In the college game, heisman passing qb do not win championship.
