Having a converstation with someone and I'm not ashamed to admit I don't know the anwer but the guy I'm talking to talks like he knows and it don't sound right....at all....and it's aggravating the crap out of me because since I admitted I don't know he thinks it makes what he is saying right.

If LSU were to lose to Arkansas, what determines who is SEC West champ since Arkansas will have beaten LSU, Alabama will have beaten Arkansas and LSU will have beaten Alabama and they all finish with the same overall record in and out of conference.

I know it's blasphemy to even discuss such a thing but I just want to settle an argument at this point. He is trying to tell me it comes down to who won last.....he's an idiot.

This has been discussed at length in other threads, but...

The BCS rankings would be used to eliminate the lowest ranked of the three tied teams. If the two higher ranked teams are within 5 spots of each other in the rankings, the head to head winner of the game between those two teams is the division champion.

Not quite, if the next highest bcs team beat the highest, then they go, assuming they are within 5 spots of each other

WOW. Even more info. Thanks. Well that being said...seems if LSU wins this weekend they should still go to SEC ship....but that I'm sure has been discussed already as well. Thanks for the info I needed.

this is the correct answer...so, if LSU loses to arkansas, the entire decision is based on the rank of each team in the following poll...honestly, so close that it will be tough to predict...

what we need today is for Moo state to beat arkansas....gooooooo state!...
