A friend is listening to 98.1 and called me to ask what Miles said that was so f'd up.
I didn't listen to the LM Show? What was Miles saying to get everybody so nuts?

I only caught the tail end and heard what some caller said after. What I gather some guy said something about the QB's and Les said he doesn't need his (the caller or asker) permission to start a specific QB. something along those lines.

I absolutely loved his response to Tim. It's the coaches call and no else makes a difference. Miles doesn't mind being corrected for misspelling Geaux and faux pas though.

Why does everyone get so excited about what Les says? Its pretty obvious he isn't going to tell anyone anything and will continue to speak in riddles, half truths, and deflections while smirking at people who are trying to make sense of it all.

He said he was tired of all the QB controversy. It was his damn strong football team, and his decision who to play and start at that position. and he was going to start MET since JJ and JL were just about a toss up.

Tim sounded like a butthurt loser who has probably never played a down of college football in his miserable little life but thinks he is a fricking coach. And then had to call Hanagriff's show because he didn't like Les' answer?? Some people will bitch whether we are 10-0 or 0-10!!

and on Dandy Don's site, DD quotes a radio host as saying that the rumors reported on TD earlier this week, that JL had missed classes was the reason he was not the starter but that Miles did not call out JL in public, preferring to keep the dirty laundry in the locker room.

It sure is. It keeps the opponents guessing. I guess you would want the coach to give the game plan out on a radio talk show so that some ignorant fans are satisfied.
Way to go Les! Tell Tim and the rest of the perpetually butt hurt second guessers to get their own damn strong football teams.

I get what you're saying, but the novelty of that wore off a month ago. Petrino nor Richt are fooled on who to prepare for. Now, whether or not their gameplan and execution works is an entirely different story.
