he failed at NMSU or whatever. he was busted in one of the biggest recruiting scandals of the modern era

his offense was new and shiny in the late 90s, but it's basically everywhere now, but more advanced

you're better off getting a guy like sumlin

I guess I don't know much about it, but was it really bigger than a lot of the shite that has gone down recently?

Agreed, but I want to see Sumlin without Case Keenum.

teams ended up paying 6-figures to a high school coach to get means to sign with them. it almost got bama the death penalty. fulmer tries to avoid the state of alabama. UK got fricked, too

...and a bama booster may have been killed over it. yeah it was big

i get you, but i was just pointing out that sumlin runs the mumme offense after it has evolved over the past 10 years. defenses adapted, mumme's prgeny tweaked the offense...defenses adapted...they tweaked it again, etc

So ya say his offense is all over today...How many other guys coaching right now can say they created an offense that is run by many programs today...Recruiting violation??? That just means he got caught right??? Hell you would have to cheat at Kentucky or how would you get anyone there????

He's at McMurray College and not doing anything special there. Also the best record he every had in his FBS career was 7-5.
