I'm looking at heading to Buffalo County either this year or next to hunt whitetails in Wisconsin. It's no secret that Wisconsin kills more Boone and Crockett bucks than anywhere else in the World.

Anyone have any experience up that way? Advice? Recommended locations to hunt?

All the guys I have talked to from Wisconsin tell me that there is a hunter on every tree on public land up there. Good luck

I lived in Milwaukee for a couple years...but hunted up in Klondike, WI....which is about an hour NW of Green Bay.

There are some massive deer up there.....even the rabbits and coyotes are bigger.

I'm actually leaving today headed to Lafayette county up there. I go every year. Hunting is great and the deer are big. I don't know about public land but lots of farmers will grant you access to hunt their land if they don't hunt. I've tried to pay the one that allows me to hunt and he won't even take money. Considers it a favor to get rid of the nuisance.
