They sound just like us!!!

One of the announcers said that the Saints have had the Falcons number ever since the Monday night game in the dome after Katrina!!

The other said it sucks to lose a game like this...but losing to the Saints hurts even worse!!

I don't think it counts as "having their number" when we are the better team.

Now the Rams on the other hand... they definitely have our number.

Just quoting what they are saying.

I think he said the Saints are 9-3 (?) since that game.

yeah I'm not criticizing you, I'm just pointing out that the announcers think their team is better than it is. When you keep losing to a better team, that's not a team having your number, you're just flat out getting beat.

Good call.

Fans are all over the place some think it was a very good game, some are wanting to burn the coach at the stake ...both guys on the radio are on opposite sides of both the 4th down call & onside kick.

Fan complaining that they SHOULD have scored TD’s when they were in the red zone instead of kicking FG since the Saints red zone “D” SUCKS!

I agreed with the 4th down call but the onside kick call was terrible.

I really wish we'd trade Roddy White for a draft pick. That mother f'er can't catch herpes this season. That dropped pass in the end zone was the game.

Agreed. On the NBC football night in America show the announcers were yelling at each other debating whether the 4th down call was good or not haha

I just got back from the game and we get the figs on 97.3 here in Bham which is actually funny considering that Saints fans outnumber the Falcons here. best way to make a comparison would be to compare it to Ole miss' hate for lsu

that call is so easy to figure out.
You Make the first the coach is a genius.
don't make it and turn the ball over and the coach is fool and needs to be fired.
all you got to do is see how it plays out to know.

Going for it wasn't stupid, it was the play call. Too much time for the Saints to push the o-line back.

I am offshore and had about 10 guys watching the game and ALL of them thought it was a bad call.
The Falcons "D" was playing good enough to give them a chance.

Just glad it was not our coach that called the bone head play of the game!!

It's not like the Saints were moving up and down the field. Their defense had made plays. If you don't make that you have no chance. Can't make that call.

I agree, but at the same time, I can't completely poo poo the decision to go for it. What I do think was completely stupid was picking such a slowing developing running play to go for it. You pull a guard and you automatically tip off where the run is going. And with that many people around the line, you run the risk of someone shooting the gap that guard just vacated.

IF you go for it Quarterback sneak is the only play. Like you said pulling guards and all was way to much time in the backfield.

Actually Roman Harper dropping a pick in the end zone before Roddy White dropped that pass was the game.

Screamed my bloody head off.

Why oh why are stonehands a requirement to play in the defensive backfield of the Saints?
