Off for Veteran's Day. Leaving for the camp tomorrow morning to throw out the deeks. Loaded up with ducks right now. Should be a great opening weekend. Gonna slay some reds after throwing them out.

Me too off on 111111. It's also my dad's bday. Heading to the camp to finish grassing the blinds and possibly catch a few fish. I already know I won't sleep tonight waiting for Saturday. I usually get anxious and start throwing up on my way to the camp. 
After a couple of beers I settle down. I won't have any trouble sleeping friday.

Yes. I literally throw up every friday before opening day. I don't know if it's in my head or what. I won't be able to sleep tonight. Last weekend before I launched the boat, I could start feeling nauseated. It passed, but I know it won't this weekend. I started treating it like a tradition.

I've been a long time lurker. But I guess the joy being off tomorrow, spending the morning in the stand, and the rest of the day getting the blind ready for opening day has finally driven me to post on the best board on TD! Good luck to everyone this weekend and Safe Hunting!!

I have a mtg in Baton Rouge at 9 tomorrow morning. I know I won't be able to concentrate. While in BR, I'll take my daughter to lunch (LSU student), then head west. I should be in Gueydan with a whiskey drink by 3PM. Can't wait!!!

I'll be departing BR by noon or so tomorrow, probably in Delacroix by 3:30 to tighten up some brush for Saturday. Got me a youth for an East Zone hunt Sunday AM, hoping I can put him on a few birds. good luck all
