How does the entire coaching staff, all the way through the entire athletic administration building, not know of this over the last decade. This thing stinks and probably runs deep and down every hallway, office, and basement. I think we have just seen the tip of the iceberg thus far. Especially after reading about the janitorial staff witnessing some of these acts. The investigation, and as it should, will rip through every corner of Penn St University.

If by every corner you mean the athletic department and the administration, then yes. I'm pretty sure the math department is safe though.

Well if someone was hired within the past couple of years, I would assume they are okay. Are you responsible for knowing all that went on at your place of work prior to you working there?

Paterno being fired may not even be the climax of all this.

They have to clean house and start all over. I expect them to try and get a big name coach (Meyer, Saban) to help but which coach wants to deal with that mess right now.

Oh hell no, BOT memebers will end up being fired, lower level members that we know nothing of will be fired. The second mile organization will be torn to shreds.

All of which would pale In comparison to Joe pa being fired

It's definitely the climax. Not the end, but it won't get any more dramatic

The set back will be epic, I had just wrote a long thread starter about how they will recover and how to restart with not administration, no leadership, and not had hiring a new coach in 45+ years and having to hire one to deal with this. But my comp locked up and it didnt get posted.

I have a hard time believing Sandusky only molested the boys in the report. A shite storm of facts is going to come through soon.

I wasn't throwing Saban's name out their to start crap up with Bama fans, just using him as an example of a big name coach.

Being completely honest. Saban would be the EXACT coach I'd want in this situation.

I don't think anyone could rehab a program like saban.

Very true. I think the dramatic climax will be this weekend. What people should focus on will be the conclusions on "what should have been done" and the suggestions on "what should have been done" by the committees that review this.

My reply was just a response, not directed at you. I wish TD had a reply button that didn't involve a reply to who.

Get rid of the entire coaching staff related to the football program. Demolish the locker room facility and build new. They profited $55m last year. There are a lot of people they can hire just not top tier. Program will be ok if they do these 2 things first. They will be middle to low tier big ten for a while.
