CBS Announcers infatuated with Wing!- Kyle Christy's father -Gator Forum

Funny how things work out... as you may know, Kyle ws offered by LSU to be their next kicker, replacing Josh Jasper. When Les called, he pointed out that Wing had not cleared the NCAA and so Kyle was to be potentially that much more important to LSU...
Trust me... Kyle (and the rest of his family) is very happy with his decision to attend Florida as apposed to LSU and even though he's a year younger than Wing, I think he'll have as good, or better stats over the next three years.

I assume that's the FL punter's father posting. Family members outing themselves on message boards is never a good idea. This has the potential for high comedy if the kid shanks one in a critical game somewhere along the line..

Anybody that can't see Brad Wing's value to LSU is just plain ignorant. Yards per punt can be an EXTREMELY overrated stat.
19 of Wing's 37 punts have been downed inside the 20 and he has only had 4 touchbacks. And opponents still have a grand total of 7 punt return yards vs. LSU this year. Give me those stats over his punting average any day....and even that is 43.4 yards per punt, which is well above average.
And I wonder if the little bitch at Florida can kick with both feet....or if he can kick it in ways to make it bounce and turn over like Wing does.

Wing leads the SEC in net punting, and most of the time he's putting it on a dime, inside the 5, and not kicking away. Oh, he's a FRESHMAN, in the toughest division in college football. Yeah, he mad!!
