From the Sounds of Crickets Saturday night to the butthurt bitching, life is good.

Very strange and sometimes hostile looks around town if I wear my colors.

My many friends who are Bama fans have been uniformly complementary overall. Some aren't convinced about Reid's interception and a few more thought TM7 tried to hurt Dre. Even those recanted to some extent when I showed them the video slowmo of the plays.

I work in an academic environment where FB is fun but even the most rabid of them are sophisticated about their fandom and the exchanges add to a good atmosphere that reduces tension over much more serious issues of critical care of patients. We have a broad mix of Bama, Barners, LSU, FSU, including a mother of a player for Auburn, and all of them know life is a lot more important than who wins any game, ANY game.

Life is good except the usual we beat ourselves, it wasn't a interception, our kicker lost the game, we are still the best team in the country.....You know typical bammer chatter

I live in Auburn, and if you know anything about this state, it is much more vindication beating Bama. In fact, Auburn fans are cheering you on and wearing LSU t-shirts. Bama fans think they are so entitled. When Auburn won last year, they were so bitter and annoyed, and could not give them one iota of respect. Beating Bama is much more of a priority then beating Auburn if u r an LSU fan here. They are more humble, more gracious, and they respect LSU much more than Bama does

Most have been pretty respectful but some felt "robbed" out of the win.

Overall it has been a fun week!

My flag has been waving in AZ over the house for a month now. People ask what's an LSU? It's funny to see them look at "Geaux" and try to fathom it.

I've lived in Bamer for 14 yrs...before this game all the AU people saying they hope we beat Bama. I even loaned LSU gear to AU people tailgating this weekend in Tuscaloosa. AU people hate Bama. I just don't rep LSU if I go to eat at Bama restaurants.

Let me tell you something there pissed. There are more Bama fans than damm roaches here I'n Pensacola. Bama fans are angry they blame the kicker and poor calls rather than the fact that Lsu just has more heart. Bama fans have this sense of entitlement that's unexplainable. They feel satan should just will them to victory. The better team won and I get to talk shot for a year. I can't put a dollar figure on what this won means to be. Imagine a world without Alabama !
