Calling all cubs fans:

With Sveum interviewing today it got me thinking... Who do I want as the next cubs manager? I say Mike Maddux. Nothing impresses me much about Sveum and Maddux has turned around Texas plus has a pretty sweet stache.

I'm kinda on the fence with these 3 guys (Maddux, Mackanin, Sveum)...I don't know if there's enough to go on that would put one guy way ahead of the other. Sveum does have experience as a manager at least.

I would have liked Sandberg to get a chance. I'm scared that the Cardinals will hire him and he will do a great job there, and never get a chance to manage the Cubs.

Of course the flip side is the Cubs hiring him, and him being terrible. Tough to fire a hometown legend.

Maddux pulled his name out of consideration with the red sox. Hopefully that means he is going to Chicago to team up with his bro for a ws run.
