Eric Reid must love being #1

#1 roster number, on #1 team, makes 1 int, at the 1 (in November, 2011, 11/5/11 )
The greatest players in lsu history became great by making spectacular plays, versus elite competition in high stakes games, at critical times
The thought of Reid and LC roaming the secondary in 2012 makes me giddy..
there is a tv replay showing a bama fan kneeling and throwing his arms in the air thinking catch, while cameras show the ball in Reid's hands on the ground anyone else see that?

I like the thought of next year too, but I like this Reid/Taylor tandem a lot.

Great shots, truly amazing play. The instant change in emotion we all experienced, from thinking its 1st and goal at the 1 for bama, to lsu ball, might not be topped for a longgg time. What a moment.

You're right... Not trying to slight Taylor at all. He's had a great career for us and is still getting better each game
Some of his TFLs last night were great.

My dad said it best.
Not being an LSU fan he goes by numbers.
"Number 7 gets all the hype and love, but #1 is the best player on y'alls team"

Watched the game from a bar with no sound. What were the announcers saying during the review?

Danielson didn't think it would get overturned after 2nd camera angle showed ball bobbling

What were Reid's stats last night?

The way he baited Mccaron on his INT was amazing
He really is a PP7 clone

Yeah... mc17 is great.
I remember telling a buddy before UNC 2010, "our season will hinge on mc17's development, opposite Peterson. If he is really good, then we are really good".
He has made himself a 1st rounder as an underclassmen, and not highly regarded recruit out of hs. Looks great for our program , truly proves to recruits that the sky is the limit for anyone at lsu
"anything is possible if you believe in god and work hard" mc17 postgame
Watching all of these DBS develop has been a joy to witness.

Apparently we only had 10 ppl on that play (?) and he still made a presnap read, motion adjustment, and baited the QB .
