when LSU wins, they are still just another week closer to probably falling from #1 or so says this writer.

"(1) — The final BCS ranking you'll expect Alabama to wind up with should they win on Saturday. As opposed to LSU. If LSU wins, it will still seem like anything can happen. It will seem possible that Arkansas could beat them, or even the East Division representative. If Bama wins, cancel the rest of the season and mail them their glass. Anything fragile or perishable? Yes, in fact."

I agree it's somewhat a lose/lose for us if we win. But, I DO believe we will handle ar-kansas this year. they are begging for a beatdown that they deserve. if any team can demolish arkansas, this year's team can do it

Dude,

Who cares?

If we win against bama, we know we have to take care of business.

If Bama wins against us, then loses to Auburn, do you think they will still be #1?

Enough of the 'media hates LSU." The majority of them voted us #1.

It's embarassing.

LSU Hasn't had a lot of luck against Arkansas the last few years. I think we all will still be apprehensive about the game.

There's also this:

Also, Rueben Randle and Odell Beckham are better than any of the Tide's wide outs. I'm trying to talk myself into the idea that this Game of the Century might also be a really good game, and it's working.

No

It's not.

We win this game, and we are still in the driver seat.

Anyone that has followed LSU throughout the years has to realize that what the writer is saying is absolutely true.Hopefully, we will get over that hump this year, but the guy is dead on.

Yeah, Bama couldn't possibly lose to Auburn, could they. They never lose to teams they're supposed to beat, like, oh, say, ULM.

it's crazy that he has to talk himself into believing this will be a good game.
