Ingram was hyped up last year and couldn't break 100 yards against LSU and I think that is exactly what happens again this year. I understand Richardson is not the same back, but I think LSU will find a way to stop Richardson with the front four and we won't tire out like every other team Bama has played because of our depth.

Am I crazy or is Trent Richardson/Bama's run game overhyped?

I'm sure this has been talked about plenty, but I haven't seen it lately and there's only so much to look at before this game.

This guy is good. I was worried as hell last season about their running game.

TR will have close to 100 yds, but will get most on one play. Will be bottled up most of the day

the key to the game imo is stopping Trent Richardson.

Agreed. If we stop him and take care of the ball we should win easily.

I don't know about win "easily" but Chavis' game plan should be to stop Richardson and their power running game. Make McCarron the freshman beat you.

I think we keep him under 100 on the ground but the screen passes will put him slightly above. Won't be enough either way.

Trent Richardson ran the ball 6 times last season and averaged .4 yard before he lucky broke loose with a 22 yard run.

He tried and tried to run against LSU and one mistake by the tigers gave him 22 yards stopped at the 1 yard line. He then ran the ball 2 more times at the 1 with no gain.. So stopping Trent isn't going to be impossible.

I like these "predictions" because somehow they all seem like prayers. I guess if you make a bunch of asinine predictions one or two are bound to come true. Here's my grand prediction, on Saturday night the National Champion will be crowned and then the Saturday after it will be business as usual.

I'm not sure that's a bold prediction.

The only stat that matters is the final score.

Here's my prediction: next week at this time Saban's Alabama honeymoon will be officially over. You and your pals are going to be wondering how Saban could lose 3 out of 5 to the "idiot" in Baton Rouge. That's with a majority of the games being played in Bama.

You and your fans will piss him off and it will be the beginning of the end of the Saban era.

And LSU has done a great job in stopping those passes. I hope Mingo gets him every time.
