I agree that he and Stampley are gonna be key weapons for our running game to be effective. Need them to neutralize Bama's linebackers. I believe they can do this. Won't happen on every play, but they'll win their share of the battles.

Truth! A Full back that can catch the ball out of the backfield is always a great weapon against agressive Defenses. They rarely ever account for the FB

JC Copeland can catch...soft hands and he's fast and nimble for his size. I have no inside information, but I've watched him in pre-game drills. LSU QBs throw the ball to him. It would not surprise me to see Les pull this on Nicky. It would be really fun to see the shocked faces of Bama fans (like the Georgia chick a few years ago) as JC high steps into the end zone!
