I wanted to see if anyone might have any kind of update on him? The last thread had him coming for a visit and then not doing it but apparently wanting to reschedule. Is he one we have a chance with still? I like having a tall sure handed receiver on board to balance out the smaller playmakers we currently have. TIA

Haven't been able to find out anything on Cordale Patterson. Would LOVE DGB but don't know if that will happen.

What I'm hearing is that we are pursuing DGB and Khiel. Khiel has already been confirmed to be visiting with Kragthorpe this weekend.

No offense, but you guys missed the boat on both of those a long time ago.

Of course, you don't give up. It's routine to have coaches go check in on them during a bye week.

Hell, we had coaches check in on Eddie Goldman and Andrus Peat during the bye week, doesn't mean anything.

I don't know about DGB, but I definitely think there is some interest with Kiel

FWIW, I will preface this statement with "No, I am not on crack or any other drug!" Ha. Anyway, if I could have my perfect close to the season landing DGB, Mario Edwards, Landon Collins and Quay Evans would be about as good as it could get for me. Again, not thinking it is going to happen but just saying that would be about as perfect a close as I would like.

We are not getting, nor do I think the coaches really want Quay Evans. I think they want Javonte Magee or Mario Edwards as the DT for this class if we take one

I honest to god can't see Kiel coming here. The depth chart is so stacked at QB right now. But then again all he has to compete with is Rivers and Randal? maybe....

No offense, but it's amazing what a coach with an actual personality and a #1 ranking can do.

Arkansas is just really horrible at recruiting and they don't understand the recruiting game very well.

Thank you for the clarification. I was checking him out and love his size. Seems to have soft hands and solid instant cut and accelaration. His list doesn't even show LSU but who knows there.

To say we missed the boat is not accurate. Maybe for Baylor, but at LSU, playing on Prime time week in and week out; currently ranking #1 with a least the potential to play for and win another championship gives us a certain quality that you will never know.

DGB is a waste of our coaches resources imo.We never have nor will we have a shot with him. He'll be at Okla,Missouri or Arkansas with a lottery level shot for Texas,Bama and Auburn.
Patterson is at least considering us and saying we'll get a visit so there is at least some hope there but we are way behind at this point.
Kiel will listen and has serious interest in us and may even visit but I'm not hopeful.Looks like ND according to everyone but honestly no one knows what he's thinking. The "experts" are all guessing at this point.

Ohio State got a third receiver this week- Michael Thomas.

Do they still have room for Stanford?

Does LSU still have room for him?
