Did anybody notice Saturday they mentioned the playing surface being in bad shape? Don't remember who but he said, "It might be from all the day games." I busted out laughing.

I know in the past couple of years the field has been in excellent shape. Do any of you know why it is? Have yall been having bad weather or what? Eric, the head groundskeeper, is very knowledgable in his field and I think he has done an exceptional job since he got there a few years ago.

This.

The grass was beautiful. It just tore easily because it was wet and too soft.

Not an excuse at all. Ideal conditions for a groundskeeper means zero precipitation, because that means you control exactly how much water the grass gets.
