I'm trying to plan my daughter's birthday party for November 19th. I'd like to plan it for the afternoon, but I'm worried about the game time.

Even though we've been on CBS all year, and even though the game should be a blowout, I'm worried that CBS might still pick the game. The other choices for CBS would be:

Mississippi State at Arkansas
Kentucky at Georgia
Vanderbilt at Tennessee

What do y'all think?

dude its YOUR DAUGHTER! Be a dad....jeez!

Schedule the party. If its at your house, and the game happens to be on, put it on the tv.

You automatically assume selfishness on my part? No, it's not at the house. If the party is during the game, lots of kids won't show up because their parents won't bring them. I want my daughter to have a good party and can schedule her party for 12:30-2:30, 3:00-5:00, or 5:30-7:30. I want to avoid the game.

I would assume 2:30 based on what's happen this season. But, normally when we play in oxford it's at night.

I do appologize! Assumed you to be the typical rantard who worries more about games than life events.... Again...sorry.

That's usually a pretty good assumption.

I would go with the 12:30-2:30 slot. I don't think it will be the early game. If its the 2:30 game people would still come, just maybe leave a little early. You could also listen to the beginning of the game on the radio and only miss the beginning of the game. If its a night game, you are totally in the clear. All of the other slots would likely pose more of a threat of interfering with the game.

It's been the 2:30 game in 2003, 2007, & 2009, when we've been ranked pretty high

It was in primetime in 2000 (before the home/home flip-flop) and 2005, when we weren't as highly ranked...

Do the math....2:30 on CBS...
