I tried searching but couldn't find. I know Toledo is low I use to put in at the army Rec site but it is closed now.

Now I use a Rec site on the Texas side by the dam. Im not asking for your secret honey hole just some nice spots. Longitude and latitude will work. Help a soldier catch some fish.

O yea I mainly fish the south side. But am willing to go up a little.

That far South, I would concentrate on the mouths of Six Mile and Housen Bay. If open water is not your thing, follow the shad up Six Mile and Sandy and fish the channel edges.

If you are putting in on TX side just above dam the TX islands (at least what we call them) about a mile and a 1/2 above the dam before 6 mile has alot of grass. They are "ON" pretty much everywhere. Was uo there 2 weeks ago and hammered em schooling the forst couple of hours shallow around grass then moved off to the deeper grass 6-12 ft with submerged grass with light weighted plastics and crank baits. took a while to figure out but they seemed to like a fast retrieve then stop the cb but the weather and water temp has changed a ton in 2 weeks. I dont think you have to go far from anywhere down south to get into them. find the grass and they will be there, find a creek in the grass and hold on!!!! as far as navigating BE CAREFUL!!!! is an understatement. we saw numerous stumps about 6-12 inches out of the water in the red/greens on the LA side and the lake is probably 6 inches lower. most of the sexas side down there is the river channel but those bouys were way out of place in may/june the last time i went down to 6 mile/housen so i wouldnt rely on bouy placement to guide you. good luck and be careful

Pendleton Marina may still be deep enough, just call them.

Also check Alpine and Big Bass.

Theres a launch near the Indian Mounds in the park but have no clue how to give directions to that.

big bass was launchable, very steep though. buckeye (200 yards bast big bass) launchable and less steep but channel to boat road very shallow. almost better to use trolling motor to get around point about 200 yards out.

both a short run to yocum and across to indian mounds. heard pirates just did alot of work on their ramp but i would call first
