2005 - @ #4 Bama - W 16-13 OT
2006 - (unranked)Bama - W 28-14
2007 - @ #17 Bama - W 41-34
2008 - #1 Bama - L 21-27 OT
2009 - @ #3 Bama - L 15-24
2010 - #5 Bama - W 24-21

overall record 4-2
record vs Saban 2-2
home record 2-1
road record 2-1

I think all of the pressure is on Bama to win at home. Saban will have his players wound up tight, and Miles will have his players loose. No one is beating this Tiger team this year. We are too good.
Geaux Tigers!

If Darry runs the other way after catching the blocked FG he goes untouched for a TD and that '08 game never goes to OT

It would be tough for anyone to convince me that Miles hasn't outcoached Saban virtually every year

First year - We win on the road in an epic shoot out with huge swings in the game

Second and third years - We take them to the wire with inferior teams

4th year - Win at home and you could argue they had a better team when you consider how our QB play was for most of the year

I think this year we win again on the road. More points will be scored than people think IMO

I don't see why everyone looks at Miles as a dufus. I hope after we beat down Bama that he starts to get some respect.

We've won 8 of the last 11 against Bama.

Although you'd think from listening to Bama fans it was the other way around.

I love LSU in this game. I only fear the zebras.

I agree that more points will be scored than people think. I think 51 total.

Miles does always have his teams ready for Bama. His two losses in 08 and 09 were both very well played games, 08 especially considering the qb play in that game and the "no call" on the int in 09. As much as I would love for this team to blow out Bama, I think it will be a typical hard fought LSU-BAMA game, with great coaching and play on both sides of the ball by both teams. GReat time to be a Tiger, and it'probably not terrible being a gump either.

In past seasons we had some ugly games but Miles is always ready for Bama. Like he said once at the recruiting bash, he never has liked red teams.

I think this rival mentality that he has had since his college days in ann arbor are a big reason he always plays bama(and florida for that matter)very close

I honestly believe, in the deepest part of my heart, that I want LSU to win this game more for Les Mile's national reputation than I do because of the consequences it has on an LSU national championship.

Someone started a thread earlier today that posed the question "what are you the most tired of hearing about", or something like that.

I'm sure it was mentioned in that thread, but for me, it's that Nick Saban is a better coach than Les Miles.

An LSU victory, in this game, at Alabama, on a national stage, while both teams are at their stackedest, would pretty much make anyone who dared say Miles wasn't as good look like a complete dumbass. I'd seriously prefer those folks get proven wrong over another NC.
