Why doesn't the TAB key work?

It's useful for separating ideas or phrases.

Very annoying that it doesn't work.

Tab can't work in browsers or other applications that aren't specifically text editors because the tab key is typically used as a way to navigate around a window and it's elements without a mouse.

I find the tab key very useful when filling out multiple fields in applications without having to use the mouse at all.

I knew that it would change fields (if you use it on TD, it moves your cursor to the submit button), but I didn't know about the text editor thing.

At lease it's easier to take now since I know there is actually a reason for it. Thanks.

That is a waste. Tab + Enter is useful enough

Nope. It doesn't. It still only gives one space between words.

it would be nice to have some kind of fixed width/table function though
