ULL to move commencment date...

For many years, ULL fans and alumni have ridiculed LSU for putting sports before academics...Well today, ULL seniors recieved an email saying due to scheduele conflicts, graduation day was moved to Friday, December 16th. The Conflict? The New Orleans Bowl is Dec 17th..the original graduation date. Hmmm...

Got this email today because I'm graduating this Fall. I was seriously going to raise hell if UL would've made the NO Bowl and graduation was that day. frick that noise.

It's a graduations ceremony. Does it really matter if they move it up 1 day? That's a weak example of a school putting athletics before academics

didn't realize they were obligated to take CUSA champ, I thought they were a lower bowl than that

A) ULL isn't CUSA
B) Doesn't get much lower than the NOLA bowl

They don't take the CUSA champ, they take a team from CUSA. CUSA Champ plays in Liberty Bowl, Sunbelt Champ gets to go to NO Bowl.
