Raiders acquired QB Carson Palmer from the Bengals in exchange for a first-round pick in 2012 and a conditional first-round pick in 2013.

How serendipitous for Cincy that Campbell got hurt right before the trade deadline.

No shite. He wasn't going anywhere until that happened. They would have gotten ZERO for him.

Palmer can't throw it far enough to hit him in stride, so I doubt it.

I'd have to assume so. I think people are being too hard on Palmer. Perhaps why he looked "washed up" was because he hated that place. Maybe Oakland will rejuvenate him, plus a McFadden run game could equal greatness.

frick him and his noodle arm.

Unbiased assessment, I'm sure.

Most people on this board never watch the Bengals play.

I'd say I'm more qualified than anyone else around here to give an assessment of his talents.

This is true. Do you really think his arm is shot? Oak is giving up a hell of a lot for him. Guess they feel like they can make a run this year.

His passes haven't had any zip on them in at least three years. It's pretty bad. I just don't think he can throw the deep ball at all anymore.
