We gotta have someone better than Shanle. Every year he gets worse. I was hoping Martez would have filled his role by now...guessing hes still hurt.

He was on the sidelines. Never say him in the game. Not saying he wasn't, but I don't remember him being in there. On the other hand, the stream I was watching was experiencing issues.
I do however remember Humber being in there. Lord help us...

Yes Shanle is starting.
He has magic powers to control the saints staff silly.

I saw Martez on ST coverage.
If Martez can't take Shanle's spot, what does that tell us about his play?

Martez was involved with one of the scuffles with the Bucs. So he was in the game on ST.

That he must be one lost rookie...

He's a rookie playing a different LB position than in college and wasn't someone expected to contribute quickly.

thanks for answering the question.

He's trying to pick up GW supposed "difficult defensive scheme" and can't get it all. With the performance of our entire defense, I would tend to agree that there's got to a place for a big, fast, athletic LB on this team. And by a place for him, I'm thinking somewhere other than SPecial teams and the bench!!
