Am I the only one that believes that Matthieu is going a little too far with the trash talk. Last saturday, his prediction for "no completions" was a bit off. How about you nix the trash talk and just play

No you're not the only one. I know this because I've seen this exact post about 500 times.

But coach miles - why don't you or the LSU AD do something about it - since it bothers you so much!

Yup, Tyran is good enough to let his play speak for itself.... no need to give the other side motivation.. like predicting #81 would get no catches... then he beats you on a couple plays, makes one look stupid for saying he would be shutdown and he wasnt... dumb statement anyway, its dam near impossible to totally shutdown a go to reciever for a whole game..

One positive result I saw from his trash-talking was a ball getting thrown in his face and a 15 yard unsportsmanlike call in our favor. He clearly gets under opposing player's skin and I think that is a good thing.

I posted in many threads that the taunting, if not the trash talk would cause us a major penalty if not a game.. although # 38's penanlty should not have been called IMO, it is an example that IT CAN BE CALLED, and if it happens in the wrong game, wrong time, who knows...may even costs us an NC.

He should act with class...let his game speak for him. He is talented enough.

Exactly! its all fine and good, until it hurts the team... better to get a handle on it now, than it happen say during the bama game and draws a unsportsman like penalty and keeps a critical drive alive fro the opposing team.. think about it!

He's young. He'll learn. He got a little egg on his face about the no completions comment.

A learning experience, hopefully, for a great young player. The truly greats let their play do the talking; I am sure TR7 is going to "get it" and begin a new chapter after last Saturday. At the very least, he surely must have felt self-embarrassed when #21 burned him after all those brash predictions.

Yep. These things take care of themselves over time.

Now, somebody needs to lock his twitter account before the Bama game.

I didn't like the twitter stuff at all.

I'm a huge TM7 fan,
I like that he gets passionate about the game.
Yes took to far, I say show the swag with your play

No, not mad. Just believe he has the talent that requires no additional taunting. Makes us look kinda like thugs.
