So we actually gained a bit of ground.

Yeah, but Bama moved closer to us as well. Overall, pretty similiar to last week except we made up a few points on OU and Bama made up a few points on us.

Can't wait or the AP poll and Boise continuing to get its single vote for #1

Sure, I'm not bent out of shape about it either way. I just like to keep track of the movements, particularly in relation to teams we won't play during the regular season.

The AP poll is not correct. The records are updated, but not the rankings. Notice how Michigan is still #11 and ahead of Michigan State despite of losing to them.

That's last week's AP poll, captain.

I was curious as to how A&M could beat Baylor yesterday, 55-27, hold the same record and still be below the Bears...

Another proof that AP is old and needs to be removed.

Laugh at Georgia Southern being up there that high but we could beat the majority of I-A teams this year. By no means will we beat or come close to beating Alabama, but people will be surprised how well we play in that one...assuming we dont rest our starters for the playoffs at that point.
Wofford was beating Clemson in the 3rd quarter and Clemson needed a 4th quarter TD to beat them by a TD. Wofford gave Clemson more of a game than Troy, Maryland, Boston College, Virginia Tech and Auburn did.

I'm aware that you're impressed with your wins over Samford, Tusculum, Western Carolina, Elon, Chattanooga, and Furman, all of which put up big points on GSU, but GSU wouldn't remotely hang with any team in the Top 25.

Brad Edwards projecting LSU #1 in BCS, followed closely by Bama, OU.

Seeing Sagarin & coaches' poll, my BCS projection is 1 LSU, 2 Bama, 3 OU, 4 OSU, 5 Boise, 6 Wisc. Top 3 are very tight
