I saw this on the OT a while back, anyone ever played it?

I was the one who posted it. I used to play through it near Halloween every year, but got tired of it. It's a really neat and creepy little game, in the same vein of psychological horror as System Shock and Call of Cthulhu. The short story it is based on is also great for fans of Sci-Fi horror and won a Hugo Award.

Sry for the double post lol
Where can I find the game? I'd definitely give it a try.

You may be able to find a torrent - I still have my copy from when it was sold on shelves in 1995. Also, keep in mind that in order to get it to run on modern PCs, you will need to use DOSbox.

I'm a big fan, though on certain games I still had to download another program (drawing a blank on the name right now) to slow down my computer. Still blows my mind how One Must Fall, Commander Keen, Cosmo, and Jazz Jackrabbit were never remade.

Try demu.org
It has a bunch of open source/public domain games from the DOS era. Hugo's House of Horrors, Jazz Jackrabbit, the original Tomb Raider, Doom, Quake, Wolfenstein3D, etc.

Wow, this game looks interesting. Must've had a good cult following with the price where it is. Anybody have any other games that fall in this category?

Phantasmagoria is along the same lines. Very dark and mysterious.
Oh, and definitely can't leave out 7th Guest. That game completely terrified me as a kid.

Here's another good site. You can play old Atari, Nintendo, Commodore, Sega, arcade, etc. games in your browser.
I post it periodically if I see a thread about classic games.
LINK
ETA: They have a downloadable program on that site called the Vizzed RGR Plugin (or something like that.) The plugin and the site are 100% safe. I installed it over six months ago, and before installing I scanned it with Avira, Malwarebytes, Ad-Aware, and Norton and all four programs said it was clean.
