Other than Montana and Buffalo?

so the thought process some of you have saying we aren't going to blow this team out of the rocky top water completely baffles me.

Try tuning into some of the games guys, you're missing LSU's best season ever.

This Tennessee team is better then the one last year that gave LSU a scare at home. Im telling you, Tennessee finds their way into games they have no way of winning and making it close like last year and the year before against Bama when they were a blocked FG away from winning. And that was their worst team. I wouldnt be surprised at all if they make it closer then Florida did. But people keep saying LSU is due a letdown game, i dont believe in being due anything in football, if LSU plays strong, its not even remotely close

This LSU team is a lot better too

4 turnovers in that game and we still won

But they've lost their fire power on offense, starting QB (best in the SEC) and RB. I don't see how it's even remotely possible even IF we turn the ball over a few times or miss a few FG's.

Losing Justin Hunter in the Florida game was a huge loss for UT. They can't run the ball against anybody, and don't have their best QB and WR. LSU defense will play great for Chief, and offense will keep doing what they've been doing.

Game over by the 4th qtr.

I just can't seem to understand why everyone keeps saying "due for a letdown" WTF? Do you WANT a let down?? Lets be real here, they are beaten up on offense..badly, we do what we do on offense and win the turnover battle and it's over before it starts.

270 total yards against Georgia? Yeah they are 11th overall in passing yardage but just lost their QB, they are 114th overall in rushing, that stat speaks for itself.

And I think Brockers said it best: "If the other team doesn't score, we win."

Cincinnati is pretty good offensively and was able to pass and run for one half of football. Cincy's pass D is weak and that is why Tenn pulled away. Do not see that scenario playing out with LSU.

LSU 38 - Tenn 10

I would be worried if they had a healthy Thler Bray and Justin Hunter. They lost there best defensive player before the season which is Janzen Jackson. Damn i glad he didn't come to LSU.

Tyler bray is definitely good. But with him out and Simms in I don't even see them having 200 total yards of total offense. We turned the ball over 4 times last year, this year we are #1 or 2 on turning the ball over, we just don't do it.

LSU - 44
Rocky - 6

it's not like tennessee has no offense ..they rank a lot higher than lsu at 4th in sec although it is mostly passing yards.

simms is not your typical backup qb ...he started
eight games last year ...had a decent qb rating..
his biggest weakness is he held on the ball too long and was sacked 25 times.

there defense may be better than anybody lsu has played except florida.

lsu was sky high at start of oregon-wva-and florida but not so much in nsu-msu and kentucky

lsu in knoxville has seldom had a good ending

lsu is a big target ..i'm hoping lsu comes out strong and puts vols in difficult position early..
if not the second half will be interesting.

i like most tiger fans want to believe this team
is dominating enough on defense and effecient on
offense that lsu is going to roll through sec without some tough games and upset loses.but history will show different.

Their best CB (forget his name) was kicked off team earlier this year. Should open up passing game for us.

I live in TN. I've seen their games and know the team better than I wish I did. Losing Bray has put everyone in a sour mood. Everyone is talking about how they hope UT can merely compete and the players have the same mentality. This week there won't b a letdown because of what a few people have already said here. These guys are gonna bring it because of Chief. LSU will be comfortably ahead by mid 3rd quarter.

WVA has a better defense.

And, this will be a blood bath.......all that orange is going to be needed to delineate that work zone!

I've seen a few comments that their RB Poole (sp?) is out. Is this confirmed?

I agree, it's time to just believe this LSU team is very, very good. However, I feel most of us won't truly belive this until after they torch UT, AU and beat Bama.
