Old man is turning 60, looking for a venue in N.O. For about 16. Any ideas? Tried don's and getting a call back from lakeview harbor in the am. Not a ton of exp with this.

Sit down meal? Cost? Private room or just a table?

I believe Mandina's has a private room, now. You could try there.

You could also try Muriel's. They have an upstairs for private groups. They offer and 3 course meal with a few options for about 30 bucks, which might work for you. You'll be cutting it close, anywhere, if alcohol is involved. You're looking at about $43 per head, including tax and tip.

No, OG. They moved up in the world and now accept credit cards.

That's tough, we recently had a party of 24 that were squeezed in a room at Domenica. I think it would be perfect for 16. Could prob do $40/person especially if a few have pizza, you go easy on the cheese/meat apps and bring your own wine.

Ha! I think that's happened to quite a few people. I'm glad they moved into the modern world and accept the CC. I think they did it sometime post Katrina.
