Despite his string of crappy comedies over the last few years, Robin Williams is still an amazing dramatic actor.

Great movie. Very creepy. I felt bad for his character.

I loved that movie.
The demeanor he maintains throughout the entire movie is pure creep.

I am a fan of this movie.

And I'm a big fan of Robin Williams acting in Dramas. I do think he's funny and his older comedies are great, but I'm not a big fan of his speaking 80's words a second in 20 different voices, making absurd references.

When he plays the inspiring/wise/flawed but caring/funny character, he's one of the best.

Dead Poets Society, Patch Adams, Mrs. Doubtfire, Good Will Hunting. But then he's good in Insomnia and One Hour Photo playing a psycho

I love this movie. Overall, his character just generated massive empathy, although my favorite part of the movie is a comedic one.

spoilers

When Williams is parked outside their house, he daydreams what it would be like to be a member of their family. He envisions himself walking around the house, just doing ordinary things. Then, he daydreams about taking a shite in their bathroom, which is funny enough. But the daydream sequence ends with them walking in on him in the bathroom.

THAT'S his fantasy - to be caught taking a duke. :rotflmao:

I watched World's Greatest Dad the other day. I thought Williams did well in it playing just a normal old sad guy. Directed by Bobcat Goldthwait.

The ending is one of my favorites...

ETA: Semi-OT, but he was also brilliant in his L&O:SVU episode, which is also one of my favorites.

Robin Williams is probably my favorite actor.. and not even for his comedy.

He was awesome in Popeye.
