There are much better steakhouses in town.

Mr Johns would be my pick.

hell, Ruths Chris is probably better than Besh.

Not a fan of Besh no. We rotate between Charlies, Crecent City,Mr Johns and Dickey Brennans. I thought I had hear there was a new New Orleans Chop House but haven't heard for sure.

I don't even think that Besh uses Prime meat for any of their cuts. Comes across as just a "casino" steakhouse...not really on par with the rest of his restaurants.

You really shouldn't eat at Besh Steakhouse unless it is a comp meal. Too many better steak places at a much lower price point in the city.

Oddly enough, it wasn't the steak that I liked there but the Chilean seabass! I recommend Mr. John's for steak.

I've eaten there several times (yeah they were comped ) but I would have paid for the meals. I had the best rib eye I've ever had there but it does seem to be kind of hit and miss. I've also eaten at the Ruth's Chris at Harrah's Hotel and I actually prefer Besh. But I'm sure there are better steakhouses, just sharing my experience.

Had the Boar there at the end of last year. I was very pleased with it.

Best in the area and walking distance from the casino. No need to eat at Besh's unless you're being comped.

Only meal I had there was comped but I had a pretty good bone in NY Strip that was a aged prime cut. With bone marrow. No way would I have paid 65 for that steak though ala carte.

You're a crazy person.

Yeah, I don't see why anyone would go and pay for Besh when Ruth's is right there. Mr. John's on St Charles. Hell, I'd rather Morton's than Besh Steakhouse.

Dont think Harrahs comps for Ruths though.. Its a good steak house for the casino to comp you a meal on. Who really would go there to eat without choosing to gamble at the casino or get a discount from the casino in some way?
