If Jefferson was a very good or great QB,with a team first attitude, i think 99 percent of the fans would welcome him back with open arms because the bottom line is winning. Most people believe that Jefferson will cost LSU at least 2-3 losses a year due to very poor or non existing QB play, regardless of how good our defense is.

I don't think you have a strong grasp of the LSU fan base.

How about a moratorium on JJ threads until he actually gets in a game?

your poor post will cost me at least 2-3 brain cells due to very poor logic or non existing common sense.

So, are everyone else's opinions about Jefferson dishonest?

I dont thnk JJ will get enough PT to cost us any games.
His attitude and demeanor and things he has said last year or two is my biggest gripe.
WIth of course his play closely behind.

Anything to make it stop. It's like standing in front of one of those noise weapons being chained to the ground. Torture.

Fans have no idea what his "team first" attitude is? You can't just judge a guy by his facial expressions.

Precisely what leads you to believe that he does not have a team first attitude? From what I have read, the team welcomed him back.

As for as your assertion of what most people think, what is the basis for that assertion? Even the irrational anti-JJ postings on the rant don't give a basis for the assertion about what most fans think.

Lee is our QB. We are doing good and finally resemble an offense. Why the hype for Jefferson being back I'll never understand. Outside of his legs I don't see the hype. Not to mention I'm finally glad we can complete passes to our wrs and not their feet.

I think we will be able to tell alot about him by how he handles himself on the sideline tomorrow. If he sits there pouting cause he is not in the he is gonna get raked over the coals. But if he is up cheering on his team and helping his teamates when he is not in the game it will reflect much more positively about his team attitude. We will see tomorrow.

Honest opinion: No QB at LSU has ever been given the chance to excel as has J. Jefferson.

He has skills that SEC OC's are looking for.
For me I think my opinion is still the same as when he was signed at LSU after seeing him for 3 years at Destrahan. What position are they going to use him.
Because in the stands at the HS games no one,and I mean no one was talking about him as a SEC QB. (Except his family).
