The guy has been through a lot, and from the grand jury's perspective, what he has been through was unwarranted. Most would agree that he is a good guy, not a thug that got away with something. He is LSU through and through and deserves a big cheer.

Agree.
Let's hope some fools do not boo the kid either. Last thing we need when we should be showing support for our players.

Not anymore than any other LSU player. Time to move forward. Happy he is back, however, its the team that wins games. He will get his ovation after he scores a touchdown. And he will score. So

He's only been practicing with the team since yesterday. NO WAY does he get any playing time v. Kentucky. Any trash time should go to Mett.

He can probably get a series or two v. Florida after he's had a little more practice time.

He will. By the time JJ gets in for some snaps, the stadium will be half empty. Most of the fans left are going to be true tiger fans who support however wears the purple and gold.

His is still guilty
Stupidity is obvious here. The only question is as to the degree. Please tell us you're not yet in high school. If so, it would at least partially explain your confusion. JJ is not yet "guilty" of anything. Do this: go ask your mommy or daddy how our legal system works.

Lee should get a big ovation when they announce him as the starter in the starting lineups before kickoff. The guy has been through a lot. Most would agree that he is a good guy. He is LSU through and through and deserves a big cheer.

Is thereva cheer limit. Do you only get one cheer a game.

frickers are killing Tiger Stadium with all these one cheer limits. I blame corporate tickets.

this ... He should get a warm, "welcome back" type of response, but it's more about perceived football. If JJ had been the QB of a prolific offense, fans would have been raising holy hell about this case and lauding his return. As a borderline successful QB (with his backup now performing admirably), he is very hesitantly welcomed back by the fans.

Does a bar fight with no previous record of problems over his 3+ years at LSU qualify him for the level of negativity he's receiving? No.

Does being the leader of a below average offense for 2 years warrant it? Maybe so, but the kid has earned his spot as a Tiger.

Welcome back, JJ!
