Glad to see he's well spoken and has good priorities in addition to having that athletic talent - kudos to good parenting and hopefully we see him in more purple and gold in the future!

I thought he was well-spoken too, and that the story was nicely done, because it wasn't parents ranting about how unfair this rule was and threatening a lawsuit or the kid saying he was mad about not being allowed to play his game.
Additionally, I was impressed by the Spencer Ware-like spin move in the first clip of him playing!

Lighten up. They're young. Kids are still in it for recreation. I wouldn't want to watch that kid run all over everybody if my kid was playing. He'll play competitive next year...he's got a long way to go.

Collectivism, is limiting the talent of the exceptional because it makes the average feel uncomfortable.
