WVU humbled our defense

Our defense let WVU back in the game with those two quick TDs in the third and hung ~500yds of passing on us.
JMO, but I think this a positive for defense going forward. It will keep them grounded

On the contrary, they were still unable to score enough. Our D came through when it really mattered.

WVU hasn't lost by a 4 TD margin since 2003. Our defense did its job.

I'm perfectly fine with giving up yardage to offenses like Oregon and west virginia.. Between those two teams and auburn we dont see another offense like that

Agreed. We sort of absorbed another "best shot." we will only get better because of it. I'm not worried about the passing yards cause I'm pretty sure Chavis was watching the game too, and LSU just might practice this week...

Ya our defensive backs seemed very humble at the end of the game, especially TM. Even the Iron Sheik couldn't humble our D.

I would be way more pissed if we won by 3 and gave up 250 yards passing with a couple big plays and so on. Our db's will learn and be better on making sure of the tackle. They have shifty receivers. We made them one dimensional and we will NEVER lose a game when the other team passes 65 times.
WE WON BY 4 TOUCHDOWNS ON THE ROAD IN A HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT WHERE WE DOMINATED ON SPECIAL TEAMS AND OUR DEFENSE DID WHAT IS WAS DESIGNED TO DO IN THIS GAME AND GET US TURNOVERS.
MASTERFUL GAME PLAN IF YOU ASK ME.

This. So what if they threw for 500? They had 21 points to show for it. I don't care if our opponent throws for over 1,00 yards, if we can hold them to 21 or fewer points then our defense did their job. Yardage is also inflated when you start every drive inside the 10.

The defensive game plan worked, but some pressure on the QB would have made me more comfortable.
